Antenatal Infant Feeding Workshops

Free • Friendly • Evidence-Based

Are you expecting a baby and curious about breastfeeding/infant feeding? Join our free, peer-led Antenatal Infant Feeding Workshops - a welcoming space to explore feeding options, learn what to expect in the early days, and build a strong bond with your baby.

What to expect

  • Friendly, face-to-face sessions in 3-week blocks starting from around 30 weeks pregnant
  • Practical tips to help you get feeding off to a great start
  • Information on what to expect around feeding in the first few days after birth
  • A chance to ask questions and feel more confident about feeding your baby

Bring a support person

Whether it’s your partner, mum, or best friend —having someone by your side makes a big difference. We encourage you to bring someone who’ll be supporting you at home, so they can learn alongside you.

Connect with other local families

Our workshops are a lovely way to meet other parents-to-be with similar due dates. Sessions run across North, South, and East Ayrshire.
